Registered Psychologist - Flexible Hours

Glow Psychology, a boutique provider of mental health services, is seeking a qualified Psychologist to join our small team in Mornington, Vic. This flexible role is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a supportive organisation that is making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. 


We are seeking psychologists to join our practise under an Independent Subcontractor Agreement. 


You’ll have the flexibility to provide consultations both in person and via Telehealth on site. Our welcoming, private, and professional rooms create a supportive environment for both clinicians and clients. Choose your own hours to suit your lifestyle and enjoy the freedom to work in a way that best fits you. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Conducting psychological counselling and developing tailored treatment plans for clients

  • Providing evidence-based psychological interventions to help clients achieve their mental health goals

  • Maintaining detailed client records and ensuring compliance with professional and organisational standards

What we're looking for:

  • AHPRA fully registered Psychologist

  • Experience in providing evidence based psychological services, particularly in the areas of general counselling and wellbeing for adults, adolescents and/or children 

  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to deliver effective, evidence-based interventions

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build a genuine warm rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds

  • A commitment to ethical and professional practise, and to continuing professional development 

  • A psychologist who is highly motivated, demonstrates an exemplary work ethic, who works collaboratively, and passionate about making a different in people’s lives

Selection Criteria:

  • Hold relevant tertiary psychologist qualifications

  • AHPRA Qualifications

  • Eligible for a Medicare provider number

  • Experience working independently and as part of a professional team

  • Experience working with adults, adolescents and/or children

  • Experience in counselling, diagnosis, some assessments, report writing, and professional communication

  • Be prepared to get a working with Children Check, Police Check, and NDIS screener check

  • Hold current Professional Indemnity Insurance
