Booking and Fees
We aim to offer flexible appointment times to suit our clients whenever possible so we recommend to book in advance so your preferred time is available. You can book a number of appointments to enable you to get your most suited days and times.
Please email or phone us if you are a new client and have not attended Glow Psychology before. Often we may be with clients and are unable to answer your call but do leave a message and we will always endeavour to return it as soon as possible.
Fees
Standard fees
Our fees are less than the Australian Psychological Society recommended fee schedule. In many cases, a standard 50 minute appointment costs $240. You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $96.65 with a GP's Better Access to Mental Health care plan referral. Currently you can access up to 10 Medicare rebates for psychology per calendar year.
For NDIS participants
Please enquire if you have a valid NDIS plan which includes psychology funding, and we can discuss the standard rates for NDIS funded psychology.
Private Health
You may be eligible to claim back a rebate if you have psychology covered under your private health extras.
Please check with your fund of what rebates you can access and claim.
Othe​r​ fees
We see people with ADF Bupa and Workcover psychology referrals. Please ask if you have another funding type.
Cancellation Policy
We require 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel a session without occurring any fees. This policy is in place to allow us to offer the allocated time to another urgent client who may be on a cancellation or waiting list for an appointment.
In the event that less that 24 hours notice is given to cancel an appointment or a scheduled appointment is not attended, a cancellation fee of $60 may be charged unless there are extenuating circumstances. This fee must be paid prior to the next appointment. Medicare does not cover cancelled appointments.
